Render Networks today announced the appointment of Paul Gutteridge as Chief Financial Officer to fuel the next stage of growth and global expansion.
Gutteridge joins Render with over two decades of experience working in executive roles within technology and telecommunications companies such as Praemium, Netspace and Telstra Business Systems.
Gutteridge served as a key executive involved in the turnaround of ASX-listed company Praemium, transforming it from a loss-making business to a company generating over $17 million in EBITDA. He also was involved in the growth and eventual sale of Netspace to Australian telecommunications business iiNet.
Render is a best-of-breed geospatial technology platform and solution that network operators and construction teams rely on to deliver world-class network deployment, customer connection and operations outcomes. Due to Render's unique approach to scope definition and real-time project insights, customers routinely finish projects 30% ahead of schedule and significantly under budget.
Render Networks CEO Sam Pratt said: "Despite the challenging global investment environment, demand for connectivity has never been stronger for operators worldwide and Render continues to grow. This is primarily driven by the continued rollout of fibre projects in the US, supported by over $US60 billion in Federal Government funding, private funding and carrier FTTH investments.
"While the US is still a key focus for us, Render's next stage involves us taking the business to new markets and capitalising on a myriad of projects emerging around the globe. Paul's track record working with fast-moving, high-growth businesses will prove invaluable in ensuring we are set up for future success and further expansion abroad."
Incoming executive Paul Gutteridge said: "I'm excited to be part of Render's growth journey, taking home-grown innovation in fibre deployment and scaling the benefit globally. Global expansion and high growth present a number of financial challenges for any business, and I look forward to helping Render navigate them and thrive in both the US and beyond."
Gutteridge's appointment is the latest hire in a chain of key executive hires from Render over the past six months. Former Nokia's Cloud and Network Services executive Don Wadas joined Render as its Chief Revenue Officer in June. In the past six months, the company also appointed Omar Ramadan as its Vice President - Customer Operations and Abby Gates as Vice President - People and Culture.
